Introducing Fritz, the new AI assistant built into ToolManageriQ™. Ask anything and Fritz will try to find an answer. It can be about tool/holder/fixture information, how to cut a specific material, or anything else you need to know. It’s like having your own personal assistant at your fingertips. If one answer isn’t enough then follow up questions can be asked to create a conversation with Fritz. You can find Fritz, along with several other improvements, in the latest version of ToolManageriQ™. ToolManageriQ™ v3.0 is also compatible with GibbsCAM® 2024.
Learning to use ToolManageriQ™ is fast and easy with readily accessible training videos – available on our YouTube channel. To keep our customers up-to-date on what’s new and how to use all of the functionality of ToolManageriQ™, we will continuously update these videos for new releases and user-requested how-to’s.
The integrated version is now compatible with GibbsCAM® 2023. Several previously unsupported tools have been added. Tangent and Tapered Barrel milling tools can be imported, as well as the broaching and probing ones. The CoroTurn® Prime Type A and B PrimeTurning™ inserts introduced in GibbsCAM® 2023 can also be added to the ToolManageriQ™ database. Several other bug fixes have been made to improve overall usability. ToolManageriQ™ v2.5 is still available to download for users with older versions of GibbsCAM®.
ToolManageriQ™ v2.5 release includes several enhancements; first and foremost, ToolManageriQ™ has the ability to work natively inside of GibbsCAM® 2022. It is also backward compatible with GibbsCAM® 13. Mathematical functions have been added to each of the dialogs providing seamless imperial/metric conversion, and fractional values to decimal conversion on the fly. In addition, an improved installer for SQL integration and ToolManageriQ™ v2.5 now supports eight languages; Czech, English, Finnish, French, German, Japanese, Spanish, and Swedish.
Organize tools, toolholders, and fixtures!
A common challenge for the NC programmer is to handle tools, toolholders and fixture models in a smooth and efficient manner when CAM programming. If you have several CAM programmers, certainly you will want to be able to share tooling and fixture data with each other in a simple way. Simply knowing what is available without having to take a walk and look on the shop floor. With ToolManageriQTM, our SQL-based TDM database, you can do just that.
ToolManageriQ™ provides the ability to work with barcode scanners and ToolID for smoother tool management. In addition, the user can add information about the tool supplier, which means that both the tool and vendor information is available when it is time to order new tools.
CAM programmers often do the same thing over and over again, instead of systemizing frequent tasks. Not knowing which tools are rigged in a particular CNC machine, or what tools are available ”on the shelf ” in the workshop is annoying, and costs time. Trying to browse hundreds of windows folders & files to find a certain fixture model is something most of us do, but is neither fun nor efficient. When several people work with CNC programming, you also want to be able to share data between users in a convenient way, instead of each user ”reinventing the wheel ” over and over again by creating the same tools again, or searching for the same fixture again. ToolManageriQ™ for GibbsCAM address these problems, it is a tool designed to make the user even faster with his already quick GibbsCAM system.
